The Women’s Premier League 2026 brings thrilling matches, star players, bigger venues, and unforgettable cricketing action across India this January.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India is planning a mega auction for this season, though the auction date has not been confirmed.
Season 4 will likely start in early January instead of February, giving fans more cricket to enjoy during the winter months. WPL launched in 2023 and has grown rapidly in just three years. The tournament features 5 teams that compete in a round-robin league stage followed by playoffs.
Each team plays every other team twice during the league phase. The top teams then advance to the playoffs, which include an eliminator match and the final. The official schedule for 2026 has not been announced yet, but we expect it to follow a similar format to the 2025 season.
The full fixture list for WPL 2026 has been released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The tournament will start on 9 January 2026 and conclude with the final on 5 February 2026.
International viewers should add 5 hours and 30 minutes to IST for GMT timing. The official WPL 2026 schedule is now announced, and all match dates.
